Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is used to confirm whether a child or adolescent with high blood pressure during a clinic measurement “truly has hypertension.” The scientific statement, published May 23 in Hypertension, aims to guide clinicians on when the monitoring is appropriate and how to interpret results.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
